The YAG organizational structure is designed to achieve the following goals:
- Achieve our mission statement.
- Make YAG a welcoming community for a wide variety of people with a
wide variety of interests.
- Making recurring communication and administrative tasks
simple, so less time is needed and more time and mental energy is
available for creativity.
- Prevent burnout by spreading out jobs so the basics of any single
job take less than 4 hours per month. Allow jobs to be swapped,
passed on and picked up with ease. Make it easy for people to fill in
for others.

Organization components and links to job aids:
- Wheel
Group - provides overall support to the young adult group
and liasons with outside groups
- Social
Action Group - serve as a resource for YAGers hosting volunteering events and otherwise facilitate social action efforts
- Worship
& Spirituality Group - serve as a resource for YAGers putting on worships and otherwise facilitate spiritual development
- Communication
Group - facilitates efficient and effective internal and external
YAG communication
- Librarians/Historians
- manages printed materials; preserves, creates and maintains
information
- Calendar
Group - compiles a monthly calendar and serves as a resource for YAGers who host events
- Keyholders
- provide access to the church building for events
There is not a set limit to the number of people in each group. If
you have an interest in that area, come aboard! Other ways to get
involved are by hosting events (some of
the above facilitators can help) or assisting on one time projects.
