SftS: Community Building

Hello,

Tomorrow night (Tuesday, March 7) I will be leading a
Community Building activity. We will be playing a
fun, slightly silly game, where we depict important
people in our lives through words, song and movement.
Hopefully you're intrigued. . .

We gather at 7 PM and begin at 7:30 PM. We'll meet in
the nursery of First Parish on the second floor.
Looking forward to seeing you there!

SftS: Spiritual Discussion

Hi everyone,

As usual, YAG will be meeting this Tuesday (March 14) in the nursery:
gather at 7pm, begin at 7:30pm. Newcomers are always welcome to join
us. This week, as the second week of the month, is Spiritual
Discussion. I've selected the theme of "Emotions and spirituality." I
thought it would be interesting to discuss these topics in connection -
both about emotions in general, and various particular emotions, as
they relate to spirituality as we might conceive it. We will begin by
reading a selection of short readings I have collected on this subject,
and then we will all share our own thoughts and ideas.

Best wishes,
Amod.

The Barn Room and Nursery are being rented out this coming Tuesday
Night. Since Finance Committee is in the Chapel we'll have to use on
of the rooms in the Mezzanine. I sexton will be there to let us in.

SftS: Social Justice

Hello all,

I will be facilitating social justice tomorrow night.
The topic will be the fine arts in America. What have
we personally gotten out of the arts (music, dance,
theater, etc.)? What role do the arts play in our
community, state, country and world? Currently, there
are three financially stable orchestras in the
country. Will we ever reach a day when there is no
live art music(only recordings)?

As some of you know, I used to work at New England
Conservatory and feel passionately about this topic.
I may show a short DVD, depending on how talkative
people feel. We gather at 7 and begin at 7:30. We
will be in the nursery on the second floor of First
Parish. (If anyone knows of anything going on there,
let me know.)

Best,
Erica Klein

SftS: Worship

Hi folks,

Yes, the fourth Tuesday is here. The month is almost over (gasp!) and
it's time for the YAG worship.

Tonight worship will be a contemplation on how one's humanity can best
be understood through community, and the importance this has for healing
and reconciliation. As usual, we'll be gathering at 7pm at First
Parish (Church Street entrance), and starting at 7:30.

Hope to see you there!

Bowling tonight at Sacco's

Sorry for sending this out late, but here's the plan:

that time, we should be allright.

Those who are interested in meeting up for dinner, let's meet up at 7 pm
in the courtyard in davis square in front of JP Licks where the statues
are, and decide where we want to go from there.

Since i am cell phone lacking, here is Greg's number if you want to find
us: (781) 475-0389

See you all tonight!
