Soulful Sundown: Creative Intimacy - Creative Imagining through Art

SOULFUL SUNDOWN:
Creating Intimacy - Creative Imagining through Art

Using the mediums of music, guided meditation, creative imagination,
and collage we will explore together what meaning(s) intimacy holds for us, why it might be important, and how to go about creating true intimacy with one another in a group setting.

How might we live as individuals in intimate community? What would it mean to accept a place in community with other people, and within our world? Why is Unitarian Universalism at its base an intimate religion?

For this relaxed and informal evening, you DO NOT need to be an
accomplished artist! If you can cut and paste you'll be fine! :-) Come on Thursday at 7 PM for a time together of creative imagination and discussion. Seriously, how often do you get to lay down on the floor in church?...

For more information, call 617-794-8992.
See you tomorrow night!

The Healing Touch Group is a wonderful and welcoming gathering of folks interested in creating a safe space for sharing the natural healing power of human touch. No professional massage experience is necessary. If you like to give and receive theraputic and spiritual bodywork, such as massage or Reiki, come join us. Each evening begins with a centering and relaxing meditation.

Please plan to arrive at 7:00, so that we may begin with a guided meditation promptly at 7:30. Late arrival would be disruptive to the group once we begin, so the doors may be closed at that point.

Games Night

howdy all,

for all of those wishing claim their friday night as way to chill out and hang with the peeps, there's Game Night. yup, good old fashioned controller-less people-powered games.

what games, you say? i will bring the ever-popular Settlers of Catan, but also some others as I am able to bring them. I would /love/ to see people bring their own games, as it's always interesting to try out new games. If you have a favorite, bring it! =)

food is always an issue, so i will bring some snacks and beverages. if there is enough group initiative, i'll probably see if we can send someone out to get pizza or something from the square as well.
