YAG Calendar

Sunday services at FirstParish (3 Church Street, Harvard Square) start at 10:30, followed by a coffee hour. The Young Adult Group meets informally for lunch every Sunday after the coffee hour. This is an easy way to meet people and find out more about YAG.

These are currently planned young adult group and selected church wide events. Newcomers are always welcome to events. Interested in hosting an event? Please take quick read through how to host an event.

Childcare is provided upon request with 10 days notice for events at the church. The church office provides a list of approved childcare providers. There is no charge to the parent. You are encouraged to use this service by contacting the appropriate event host, who will make arrangements with the church office.

"Orestes" by Euripides

Thu 12/02 "ORESTES" BY EURIPEDES. Sina Najarian stars in this play at = Brandeis U. Spingold Theatre (Waltham MA) Meet at 7:45pm at Brandeis for 8pm show. Orestes is a Greek Tragedy based in a modern context, with music by Jane's Addiction and Tori Amos. The city of Aros votes on whether Orestes and Electra should be stoned to death. A noted gymnast, and friend of Socrates, Euripedes wrote this and several other plays portraying society as a merciless persecutor of the individual.
