About the Big Chill The "Big Chill," along with its sister spring dance, the "Spring Thaw," is a time to celebrate the changing of the seasons with wonderful people. While the Spring Thaw marks the change of winter into spring, the Big Chill marks the change of fall into winter. Don't fight the change in seasons, celebrate it, specifically by dancing and laughing. It will be a fun, healthy atmosphere, with homemade decorations, a mirror ball and some "special effects." Think high school prom crossed with a wedding reception crossed with a nightclub. It will feature pop music from the 50s to today. A great chance to get to know people in a different setting. Bring friends!
What do I wear? We encourage creative or formal attire - a sparkly dress, a cool sport jacket, glitter in your hair, your favorite suit - all are encouraged, but not required. Come as you want to be. In the past, there have been prizes for best dressed....
How do I contribute? The Big Chill is created by many people's energy and ideas. We need people to bring refreshments to share for the refreshments table. You can also volunteer by helping to advertise, decorate, setup, or otherwise brainstorm the evening. If you're interested in helping, please contact youngadults@firstparishcambridge.org.

The Big Chill is cosponsored by the First Parish Young Adult and 30 Somethings groups.
